Summary:The development of this paper aims to study on biosecurity measures and labor risk they are exposed personnel hemodialysis unit DIAL-RIOS Canton Babahoyo, using and developing quantitative methodology, since the statistic was used to analyze the information collected, questionnaire surveys of closed questions. The field investigation was used because the researcher came to collect information on the place and using direct observation to check the veracity of the facts, skills and professionalism of the unit, and thus able to make findings and relevant recommendations in the context; and it is descriptive because it has important theoretical foundation, where research literature sources and similar work is very important for the development of this issue. The population includes medical, nursing and cleaning works in the Hemodialysis Unit DIAL-RIOS, which are primarily involved in this issue, with the intention of knowing the level of implementation of biosecurity measures and thus reduce occupational risk that may affect people exposed to infection of viral infections and other dangerous diseases. The main beneficiaries of the research are nurses, medical and cleaning works in the hemodialysis unit DIAL-RIOS, Babahoyo City, and secondary students, trainees, professionals, users and the general community who come to this center and should take appropriate precautions when using this unit.
