Резюме:This research was conducted in the agroindustrial company and aquaculture resources SA, Canton Pedernales, Manabi province, establishing research comoobjetivos: Diagnose the current selection process agroindustrial company Company SA and aquaculture resources Pedernales Canton; determine the impact of the ongoing recruitment; structure plan selection based on competencies for agro Company and aquaculture resources of Pedernales SA canton. Primary sources are considered employees of the company who issued the information on how the selection process unfolds. The research aimed to study the process of selecting the company, complemented by a literature research is consisted of books, journals, internet, whereby the theoretical framework is obtained, then to infer later with the researched facts. In investigating the research methods were applied: observation; inductive deductive order allowing the observed data and then draw conclusions, then analyze and classify; further analytical - Synthetics was used to perform the analysis and interpretation of the results obtained by means of the 19 employee surveys and interviews in the investigation. Mong the results was determined that the company does not apply a proper recruitment process so that 90% of employees were recruited through referrals of staff already worked in the company. Besides the selection process is based on the traditional model of job descriptions constituted enumerations of tasks, activities, and personality characteristics, knowledge skills and responsibilities associated with a job. What has affected a high percentage of low jitter and non-competitive development of the company.
