Etiketle | Özet: | This work focuses on evaluation, whose theme is the Influence of citizen participation in the environmental management of the Mocache Canton of the Los Ríos Province, year 2020, the general objective: Evaluate the influence of citizen participation in the environmental management of the Mocache canton of the Los Ríos province, specific objectives: Identify the potential for citizen participation in environmental management of the Mocache canton; Determine the profile of citizens who participate in local environmental management; Propose an alternative social legal solution for citizen participation in the environmental management of the Mocache canton. For its development, a documentary and bibliographic research was carried out, interviews and surveys were elaborated that allowed to quantify the knowledge of the citizens of the Mocache canton with respect to the laws, activities among others that must be carried out to carry out environmental management within its territory. In addition, with regard to the theoretical study, it was indicated that citizen participation since the 1970s has been increasing in the world, with the aim that each individual can express their concerns to local governments, in all areas; One of the most important topics developed was its impact, not only on the study territory but also on the population in general, since such participation has as its goal that all citizens participate in public environmental policies and in all those that they may intervene. Finally, the importance of the work lies in the assessment of citizen participation within environmental management, since this allows us to identify which are the preponderant factors that justify the ignorance on the part of the population.
