סיכום:This research was conducted after discovering that many second-year high school students have low academic performance due to poor family guidance and support. The main objective was to design and implement family guidance strategies that strengthen communication, study habits, emotional support, and school-family co-responsibility to improve such performance. A qualitative-propositional methodology was followed with surveys and interviews applied to students, families, and teachers, in addition to the validation of strategies designed by experts. The findings show that there is a significant deficit in parental educational functions, emotional support, homework supervision, and school participation, which is reflected in low motivation, lack of stable study habits, and insufficient academic results. Of the proposed strategies, those that promote active parental participation, the use of practical workshops, and emotional mediation presented greater acceptance and potential impact. In conclusion, it is inferred that family guidance is a key factor in improving academic performance. It is essential to incorporate these strategies as part of institutional policies, regularly train families, and strengthen the school-home relationship as a permanent educational support mechanism.
