Description
Summary:The systemic psycho-pedagogy approach is fundamental to address school difficulties derived from family problems, as it allows understanding how family dynamics impact students' academic performance. Situations of family conflict, such as separation, violence, serious illness or lack of support, affect the emotional and psychological well-being of young people, which can translate into poor school performance. In this context, the systemic approach seeks to identify and analyze family interactions that influence the student, promoting collaboration between school and family to create a balanced environment. The systemic educational psychologist is in charge of designing strategies that address both academic and emotional challenges derived from the family. Through this approach, he works on communication and emotional support, which are vital to improve motivation and academic performance. In addition, it highlights the importance of the role of parents, who should be actively involved in the educational process and apply appropriate parenting styles to promote the development of their children. In this way, systemic psychopedagogy not only seeks to improve school performance, but also to strengthen the student's overall well-being, integrating both the family and school context in a harmonious intervention.
