La innovación tecnológica en el ordenamiento territorial y su efecto en el desarrollo local del cantón El Empalme.

Currently in a globalized world, where technology is advancing at an accelerated pace and likewise its use in all areas of our daily lives. This research work is based on the implementation of technological innovation in territorial planning and its effect on the local development of the El Empalme canton. This will take place in the urban area of the canton, on its four main roads, the Vía a Guayaquil, Vía a Manabí, Vía a la Guayas and Vía a Quevedo. The main objective of the research will be to evaluate technological innovation in territorial planning and its effect on the local development of the El Empalme canton. The research methods used were analytical, deductive, and statistical and the types of research were explanatory and field, an interview was used with the municipal official of the Territorial Planning area, the police colonel to know the critical points of the 4 sectors and the surveys will be carried out on families in the sectors at random. Where it was determined that there is no technological innovation in the field of project monitoring, it is carried out in a similar way, basic services are scarce such as drinking water and sewage, greater emphasis is given to simple works such as sidewalks and curbs, but not the essential ones.
