| Summary: | The research development was prioritized in designing a communication plan to promote that has tourist attractions Quevedo Canton and its environment, a population of 173,575 inhabitants, according to the census of 2011, this work was considered the economically active population , is the same as 59,695 inhabitants, calculated according to the table designed by the INEC. The purpose of this research is to help the decentralized autonomous government in conjunction with the tourism department to develop partnerships with private companies and foreign markets, so that opening scatterings elsewhere, showing strategies that can retain citizenship in the search for better migration and tourist sites. Within the vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally that have tourist attractions, in order to have received very efficiently. And as for his mission is to spread the tourist attractions unknown by most of the inhabitants and strangers. The proposal is based on the results of the research carried out in the market town of Quevedo and their environment comprising information from the analysis of the data obtained to the proposed alternative solution to drive on the fallacy that the department has tourism. The communication plan is aimed primarily at promoting the development of tourism in the area Quevedo with the purposes is to raise tourism positioning system on the market which allows searches of purchase intent. Regarding the results of the study found that 50% of the surveyed population are people living in the rural parishes, while the other 50% say we are living in the urban parishes. This means that promotional strategies to be undertaken, will be addressed in both the urban and rural sectors of the City of Quevedo. Using the information from the data obtained it was observed that 42.82% of the surveyed population are entrepreneurs, followed by 34.65% represent both formal and informal trade, while 15.35% selected the group of employees in the public and private sectors; finally the other 7.18% of the survey sample groups, are engaged in other activities. It means that the study population has an economic attraction for the location of the tourist product that will be offered later in the implementation of the proposal. In conclusion, according to the results, the sample we determined that the study population is divided in Rural and Urban sector, meaning that the communication should be a holistic approach to both sides. The study population in the sampling process it was determined that in holiday periods orient its program as the coastal region especially Salinas spas, Canoa, Manabi and a large percentage of the Sierra region especially where the hot springs . As a result of the survey, it was determined that the public overwhelmingly believes that the tourism department of the Autonomous Decentralized Quevedo has that permanent advertising campaigns to promote tourism to achieve greater scale. It suggests that the tourism department of the Autonomous decentralized implement communication strategies to achieve better positioning of tourism that currently sponsors, as preference in the communications message refer to the sports complex. |
