| Shrnutí: | The present research was developed to determine the agronomic response of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.) to the application of Bradyrhizobium japonicum and high and low molecular weight chitosan. For the analysis of the effect produced by each bioproduct, 6 treatments and 3 repetitions were established, distributed randomly in a completely randomized design (DCA). For the comparison between means, Tukey's test was used (p≤ 0.05). For which, in the first instance it was proceeded to inhibit the tomato seeds in the different treatments, after the transplant applications were made during its development, obtaining results that demonstrate its influence on productive and phytosanitary parameters, highlighting the simultaneous use of low molecular weight chitosan and the inoculant of Bradyrhizobium japonicum (T5) in most variables under study, however, regarding the variable yield per hectare, highlighted the T1 (high molecular weight chitosan), which would place it as one of the most effective treatments. Finally, it could be concluded that the use of bioproducts produces excellent results in crops of horticultural interest such as tomatoes, which would mean an ecological and accessible alternative for producers in Los Rios and other provinces of Ecuador.
