| Izvleček: | The study's main issue focused on the question: How does the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) influence organizational management in the maintenance department of the Quevedo II Thermal Power Plant - CELEC EP Termopichincha in 2024? The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the use of ICT and their impact on organizational management through observation techniques, surveys, and interviews to measure satisfaction levels and work performance within the maintenance department of the Quevedo II Thermal Power Plant - CELEC EP Termopichincha in 2024. The methodology was based on field, exploratory, and descriptive research types. The methods applied included inductive, analytical, and deductive approaches. The population consisted of 31 public servants, including one maintenance manager, 22 mechanics, and eight electricians. The sample size was the total population. Among the most notable findings was the absence of complementary tools, such as intranet systems, advanced spreadsheets, or document management software, highlighting a technological gap that could be hindering the development of more efficient and collaborative processes. One of the key conclusions was that the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) significantly influences the organizational management of the maintenance department at the Quevedo II Thermal Power Plant. ICT enables process optimization, enhances productivity, and improves work performance. |
