The investigation was carried out at the “Don Alberto” farm, located in the Aguas Frías area of the Ventanas canton, Los Ríos prov-ince, at coordinates 1° 25' 18.28' ' South latitude and 79° 27' 43,19 '' west longitude, at a height of 39 meters above sea level and flat topography. A single factor was studied: fertili-zation, 5 treatments were developed in which the effect of the application of edaphic (urea, DAP and muriate potassium) and foliar (evergreen, complefol especial and novaplex) ferti-lizers were evaluated. After tabulation of the data obtained and followed by the respective statistical analysis, relevant results were obtained as a result of the application of the detailed treatments, highlighting the combination of soil fertilizers containing NPK + evergreen (Fo-liar biostimulant), said treatment caused a great effect on the height of the plant at 53 days registering values of 71.75 cm, the same combination of fertilizers (Edaphic and Foliar) also influenced the number of pods per plant reflecting an average of 47.75, a value that was statistically higher than the other treatments studied. Despite the fact that in the weight var-iable of 100 grains the NPK treatment registered the highest average weight with 13.25 g (11.7% humidity), the values mentioned in the average of pods per plant were decisive to show the influence of treatment # 1 (NPK + Evergreen) the yield, where the mentioned com-bination yielded an average of 2200, 30 kg / ha, statistically higher than the other yields obtained. It should be noted that irrigation, a water source, played an important role for the good filling of the pod and therefore a good grain weight and crop yield. The profitability of the crop was higher in the application of the novaplex foliar with 47.05% despite having a yield of 1871.13 kg / ha. In conclusion; NPK + Evergreen applications positively influenced direct performance variables, such as plant height, number of pods and yield, but not, the highest profitability fell on the treatment of applications with Novaplex, which generated the second lowest yield, but its total cost was the lowest among the products and combinations studied. Keywords: Soybean, edaphic, foliar, yield, profitabilityEl cultivo de soya (Glycine max L.), es de gran importancia económica para los agricultores de más de ocho cantones de la provincia de los Ríos, es por aquello que se desarrolló este proyecto de investigación bajo el objetivo general “Evaluar el efecto de la aplicación de fertilizantes edáficos y foliares en el cultivo de soya (Glycine max L.)”. La investigación se llevó a cabo en la finca “Don Alberto”, ubicada en el recinto Aguas Frías del cantón Ventanas, provincia de Los Ríos, en las coordenadas 1° 25’ 18,28’’ de latitud Sur y 79° 27’ 43,19’’ de longitud Oeste, a una altura de 39 msnm y topografía plana. Se estudió un solo factor: fertilización, se desarrollaron 5 tratamientos en las que se evaluaron el efecto de la aplicación de fertilizantes edáficos (urea, DAP y muriato de potasio) y foliares (evergreen, complefol especial y novaplex). Posterior a la tabulación de los datos obtenidos y seguido del respectivo análisis estadístico, se llegó a obtener resultados relevantes producto de la aplicación de los tratamientos detallados, destacando la combinación de los fertilizantes edáficos que contenían NPK + evergreen (Bioestimulante foliar) dicho tratamiento causó un gran efecto sobre la altura de la planta a los 53 días registrando valores de 71.75 cm, la misma combinación de fertilizantes (Edáfico y Foliar) también influyó en el número de vainas por plantas reflejando un promedio de 47.75, valor que fue superior estadísticamente ante los demás tratamientos estudiados. Pese a que en la variable de peso de 100 granos el tratamiento de NPK registró el mayor promedio de peso con 13,25 g (11,7 % de humedad), los valores mencionados en el promedio de vainas por planta fueron determinantes para evidenciar la influencia del tratamiento # 1 (NPK + Evergreen) el rendimiento, en donde la combinación mencionada arrojo un promedio de 2200, 30 kg/ha, estadísticamente superior a los demás rendimientos obtenidos. Cabe destacar que el riego, fuente hídrica, jugó un papel importante para el buen llenado de vaina y por ende un buen peso del grano y rendimiento del cultivo. La rentabilidad del cultivo fue mayor en la aplicación del foliar novaplex con el 47.05% a pesar de tener un rendimiento de 1871.13 kg/ha. En conclusión; las aplicaciones de NPK + Evergreen, influyeron positivamente en variables directas al rendimiento, como altura de planta, número de vainas y rendimiento, no así, la mayor rentabilidad recayó sobre el tratamiento de aplicaciones con Novaplex, el cual generó el segundo menor rendimiento, pero su costo total fue el menor entre los productos y combinaciones estudiadas.
