Zusammenfassung:Being the noise a widespread problem of environmental contamination that affects the whole human population, causing mainly affectation to the hearing, emotional irritability, stress, fatigue, alteration of the arterial pressure, deafness and tachycardias, the investigation carried out in the area that occupies the Terrestrial Terminal of Quevedo at the moment, had the purpose of determining, in experimental form, if the wooden materials, cork and glass, used as protective against the noise, they reduce the sonic contamination significantly. The experiment was guided to the determination of the levels of absorption of noise with the wooden materials of raft, guarumo wood, cork and glass that were used in the construction of cameras, in cubic way of 30 centimeters of edge, of same size and one centimeter of thickness, where they were carried out mensurations of the intensity of the noise using a digital sound level meter. These cameras were placed in three places in the experimental area: a) in the platforms; b) in the interior; and, c) in the arrival area to the Terrestrial Terminal. As witness it was considered the intensity of the noise outdoors in each one of the described places. The experimental design was at random of complete blocks (BCA) with factorial arrangement, where they conformed to 15 treatments with four repetitions. The treatments were of the combination of materials with the elected places and the four repetitions constituted different schedules; that is to say, mensurations of the noise were made in different hours of the day. The information registered in the two days of the week of more human mobility and motorized in the Terrestrial Terminal, this is, the days Saturdays and Sundays, during two serial months, corresponding to the months of August and of September of the 2012. The results of the experiment allowed to identify to the raft wood like the material of more absorption of noise and to the glass sheets as the good material as barrier reflective and protective of sound waves. These results provided the scientific base for the elaboration of a technical proposal of the use of the good material in the cubicles constructions to avoid the damages especially to the human health by reason of the environmental noise.
