Crianza y engorda de cerdos (sus scrofa domestica) bajo dos técnicas de castración.

The present investigation had for object to characterize the upbringing and it puts on weight of pigs (Sus scrofa domestica) I lower two castration techniques. The investigation and practical development of the proposal was carried out in the County of The Gold, The Guabo canton, in the country property The Montaña sieges Malvinas, belonging parish The Iberia located at 30 17' 16" of South latitude and 790 57' 5" of longitude West, the field work had an approximate time of 120 days. The treatments for this investigation were T1 Inmunocastración (it vaccinates Improvac), T2 without Castration (Witness whole pigs) and T3 castration (surgical method) and they prepared totally at random in a Design (DBCA), with four repetitions. To determine differences among the treatments, the test of multiple ranges was used from Tukey to 0.05% of probability; an economic analysis was also made to the studied treatments. Of the results he/she settles down that The inmunocastración and the surgical castration allow to produce pig meat without scent neither flavor to urine, The conversion of total food for pig, is bigger in the treatment the T1 with 2.34 kilos for animal, in final weight of the pigs, the T1 stands out with 117.14 kg, the inmunocastración and it presents the best relationship benefit/coast therefore with 1.85 it is recommended, plows to obtain bigger gain of weight total, bigger food conversion, weight to the channel, bigger yield and better utility, to use the inmunocastración in two applications.
