Crynodeb:In the present work I want to present the application of the nursing process in the care and attention of a patient with colon polyps, a polyp in the colon is a small accumulation of cells that forms in the lining of the colon, most polyps in the colon are harmless, depending on the severity; However, over time some polyps in the colon can become neoplastic, and it is usually fatal if colon cancer is discovered in its later stages. Most of the patients who have a colostomy are men, they are over 53 years old, and the main cause is severe trauma. In this case, a patient was chosen whose diagnosis was irritable bowel syndrome, who was hospitalized for 4 days. fatigue, rectal bleeding and flatulence, of which a video colonoscopy revealed 8 polyploidy lesions in the right colon, with suspicion of colorectal cancer. The patient's assessment was carried out following the standards of Marjory Gordon. Using the “NANDA” taxonomy to determine Nursing Diagnoses, and the risk factors related to each diagnosis. Identifying the Outcome Criteria, corresponding to each diagnosis, following the NOC classification, which describe the patient's status after care interventions. I identified the Nursing Interventions corresponding to each diagnosis, following the NIC classification, which are the activities aimed at achieving the NOC. Finished the nursing process.
