This research was carried out in the Puerto Francisco de Orellana canton, Orellana province and had the general objective of preparing a proposal for community tourism development in the Ila Kucha center in order to diversify the existing local offer and contribute to boosting the economy of the canton. The applied methodology was described in 2 phases, the first consisted of a field visit to the tourism center in order to demonstrate the current situation in which the existing tourist services are found, the second was based on conducting surveys of the population of the Canton Orellana to know the tastes and preferences regarding your tourist needs; A total of 319 surveys were obtained. After obtaining the necessary data, the community tourism proposal was formulated. In the results obtained, a deficit was found in the tourist services provided as it is; deterioration of infrastructures, lack of training for guides and other tourist center servers, in addition to ignorance of promotion strategies. For these reasons, there is a need to implement actions that contribute to improving the existing tourist offer in Ila Kucha, that is why the proposal was created in order to face the problems encountered and was specifically focused on training, innovation and promotion. In this way, it will contribute to the tourist having a rewarding experience, in addition to helping to improve the quality of life of the community's inhabitants. In conclusion, the Ila Kucha tourism center has great tourist potential to enhance and preserve and that with proper administration it can become a place of great tourist interest that will not only benefit the inhabitants of the community, but the entire canton.
