Resumo:Agricultural and human activities taking place within the urban area of Canton Valencia, is very close to the urban area causing negative impact on humans, animals and plants. In order to analyze the damage caused by these activities to the environment, so that several soil tests were conducted in 10 sectors of the canton such as: Entrance corner, Warbler, ecological park, landfill, Las Mercedes, La Union, Banana Sarita exit of the corner, treatment plant and palm trees. Bioacumuladoras it is planting plants trandescantia, Xanthoria parietina and boutelova aristidoides bouganvillea and the accumulator, nerium olander, Pteridium aquilinum, adscendes desmodium and ixora coccinea was performed. Existing biochemical components are taken into account on the ground as a starting point to identify contaminants thereby determining environmental quality, being the trandescantia which presented greater plant vigor, contaminants cadmium and lead not to spend the critical points and that is creeping thistle species that best captures Lead and cadmium. Air emissions from mobile sources not affect environmental quality, so this is impaired for other reasons remained at stable conditions for the inhabitants. Quantitative information was organized through INFOSTAT software and descriptive statistics, analysis of variance and Tukey test was applied significance as cluster analysis. Multivariate analysis known as cluster analysis or cluster, in order to determine the similarity between locations depending on the variables referred was made. This analysis was supported in INFOSTAT Software, resulting in the local treatment plant is different from all the towns and that the circle of the entrance and the New Union, tend to be similar in biological and soil characteristics variables.
