Factibilidad para la creación del departamento de turismo en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del Municipio del cantón La Maná, provincia de Cotopaxi

This research was conducted in the Canton Province of Cotopaxi's Mana and lasted 120 days. Was directed to conduct a feasibility study for the increment of a Department of Tourism will work in the building of the Municipality of GAD canton La Manna. To carry out the objectives, we analyzed the benefits of the Tourism Department based on the analysis to the theories of different authors describing the benefits of tourism in different categories. Demand was analyzed based on surveys of the economically active population in which 60% of respondents said they were dissatisfied due to lack of this service, Cuale expressed the importance of implementation of the Tourism Department. The proposal presented is based on technical study proceeded to make the organizational structure of the Department of Tourism, specifying what will be the organizational structure, and preparation of manual functions Then he proceeded to perform a financial analysis, calculating the absolute value and net interest rate of return, according to these important calculations determined that it is feasible the implementation of this Department to reach a successful conclusion, it is necessary to effect the study of feasibility, and commitment of all parties, both service providers and the tourism authorities of the Canton Municipal GAD La Mana, which involves making a coordinated teamwork.
