| Shrnutí: | The research addresses the need to create a mobile application aimed at improving and promoting the cognitive, communicative, and social development of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The study focused on children from the Maranatha Educational Unit, located in El Carmen canton, Manabí province, Ecuador. Despite the widespread adoption of these technological tools, the lack of studies on their adaptability, user-application interaction, skill transfer, and practical application limits our understanding of their true educational and behavioral impact. The methodology used was scientific and non-experimental. The research explored various pedagogical methods, such as Montessori, TEACCH, and SCERTS, which are supportive and essential for the development of mobile applications. The analytical and inductive methods were employed, focusing on positive impacts, and the C.A.R.S cognitive-behavioral test was used, showing significant improvement. The implementation of the mobile application as a pedagogical tool is ideal, and its use is recommended in the teaching-learning process. The mobile application integrates methods such as Montessori, SCERTS, and TEACCH, contributing to improvements in the educational process and treatment of children with ASD. This tool and its applied techniques promote personalized work, tailored to the specific needs of these children, enhancing the teaching-learning process and their social interaction |
