Manejo de los desechos sólidos y el impacto en la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la parroquia “24 de Mayo” cantón Quevedo, 2014

To develop the management of solid waste issue and the impact on quality of life of the inhabitants of the parish "May 24" located in the city of Quevedo applying research to verify the management over who had the inhabitants, quality of life, income, housing, numbers of children per family was found; thus could determine the disadvantages is the lack of an appropriate system to provide the community an adequate management of solid waste such as paper, glass, cardboard, plastic, batteries, computers, and other debris that eliminates Family Average daily. The diagnosis allowed to collect the many needs that the parish, in addition to checking that staff garbage collection of the municipal GAD Quevedo EPMAGAQ not meet expectations, environmental, sanitation, hygiene, health and welfare of its employees. It was possible to show that the community 88% do not know the schedule of the tours as the management they do is leave them on the sidewalks, but more than 44% of the population happens collector car which prevents families eliminate their waste normally must bury or even abandon it in other sectors. More than that 98% of the surveyed population does not know the bylaws, the disinterest that the community has to improve or inattention on the part of the agencies responsible will give prompt solution to the priority needs such as the cleaning streets, parks and sweeping debris from the parish under study. In view of this need to detect in the field study the proposal to provide training on the issue of solid waste management and promote the opening of a Community recycling that allows the overcoming of those who make the parish "May 24, extends the canton Quevedo.
