| Sumari: | This research was conducted in the Calazacón Education Unit of Santo Domingo Canton of Tsáchilas, 2014. Located at Km 6 ½ Via Santo Domingo - Quevedo left margin; belonging to the Canton Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Province. Its geographical location is 495 m., With a geographical location 13'50'' 0 ° south latitude and 79 ° west longitude 10'40'', research lasted 180 days. Were 7 treatments in which we used 1, 3 and 5 kg of vermicompost and 1, 3 and 5 kg of water hyacinth plus a control. The results treatment 2 (3 kg of humus) with 12.13; 38.46 and 38.46 cm in the order of 15, 30 and 45 days of evaluation. Treatment 2 (3 kg of humus) resulted in more leaves at 15 days with 46,98 leaves; 30 days with sheets 15,56 and 45 days treatment 1 (1 kg of humus) with blades 20,85. Treatment 2 (3 kg of humus) resulted with the highest averages evaluated on days 20,05; 36.10 and 43.43 cm in your order at 15, 30 and 45 days. Treatment 2 (3 kg of humus) resulted with the highest average width of leaves with 10.02; 15.05 and 17.38 cm at 15, 30 and 45 days. Treatment 2 (3 kg of humus) resulted in thicker stem with 28.93 cm; as regards the thickness of the pseudostem, treatment 3 (5 kg of humus) to 3.11 cm; for the weight of the plant is established that treatment 1 (1 kg of humus) reported the highest weight 1238 g. Treatment 1 (1 kg of vermicompost) resulted with higher averages in the dimensions set with 16.10 kg per m2; 39.64 kg per plot; 158.55 kg per treatment and finally 180.18 tons per hectare. |
