Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | This essay was carried out in order to determine the prevalence of Dirofilaria Inmitis at Pasaje city. A total number of 100 blood samples were taken from dogs in different sectors of the city. The blood samples were taken directly from the caphalic vein or safena vein, respectively. The data obtained from the proprietors were placed in a register sheet. There were considered different parameters: hábitat, sex, age, origin, etc, to evaluate each one of them to verify if the disease had any preference or predilection and to know which were the more exposed canines. On despite of all previously exposed, there were no positive cases of Dirofilaria Inmitis. The proprietors were recommended to keep control on the pets, as well as to Public Health authorities to periodically carry out the control of vectors. |
