| Sumari: | The present work describes the design of the water distribution network in a building located in the city of Machala, in the province of El Oro, where the pressure of the network is not adequate to supply the entire building, because this Pressure would only supply devices requiring a pressure lower than 1.408 m, ie only those appliances on the ground floor that are less than this pressure. Before this, an Indirect System was developed, specifically the Elevated Tank System or also called gravity system, which are ponds located above the level of the natural terrain, whose support is made by columns. Among the advantages of this system are: that the pump is activated when a minimum water level is detected in the tank; The pressures in the hydraulic distribution network can be handled more easily because they are determined by the height at which the tank is placed; Exhibits a permanently elevated water reservoir which avoids service interruption in the event of a power failure. The research work proposes the use of methods and techniques specific to Civil Engineering; The corresponding design of the water distribution network in the building was developed using Solver of the program Microsoft Excel which is a tool that uses a gradient algorithm that allows planning, planning and optimization. In the Microsoft Excel program, the electronic worksheet is configured to calculate all the necessary requirements for the hydraulic distribution network. These are: Probable maximum flow, simultaneity factor, possible maximum flow rate, diameter, speed, length, Reynolds number, friction factor, friction losses, minor losses, total losses, unit price, total price, and pressures on each accessory. Through the Solver tool of the Microsoft Excel program, cost optimization was achieved because this tool has the option to consider maximum and minimum results, applying their respective restrictions, added to this Solver allowed the factors that are taken into consideration for the Design of the hydraulic distribution network in buildings, influence in a positive way, as the case of the speed and pressure existing in each section of pipe, providing a network of design that meet all the technical specifications that must have the same according to the Standard Ecuadorian Construction (NEC). It is necessary to make the graph that relates the prices to the pipe diameters to be used and choose the graph whose R2 coefficient of determination is closer to the unit, in this way the cost of the network will be selected as the target and will determine the Minimum values that allow me to give the project greater optimization in costs of the water distribution network. The development of the technical project demonstrated that an optimal design of hydraulic networks can be obtained in buildings at low cost and that it presents the functionality that this type of work requires. |
