The number of animals investigated was 500, taking into consideration that slaughtered an average of 9 animals per day. Foreign bodies were found in the inspection and by cutting the proventriculus were plastic bags, rubber, stones and plastic ropes, this work had a prevalence of 2.6% of foreign bodies in the rumen, 1% in the bonnet and 0.4% in the booklet. There were no injuries caused by foreign bodies found. |
