要約:The purpose of this study was to develop a study to determine the viability and feasibility of the establishment of a nursery for production of hydroponic Green fodder of maize (Zea mays l.) in the Canton of passage. Variables that were examined in the study of market supply, demand, methods of cultivation among others, these were analyzed through the application of participatory methodologies by filling in surveys with farmers in the canton and interviews to traders of livestock food of the urban area of passage, on the basis of statistical sampling to have greater reliability in the results.Market research showed that hydroponic forage have broad acceptance of the population, so it is claimed on the basis of this result that the establishment of the viability and technical feasibility is successful from the standpoint of opting for a new alternative for the livestock feed. A production studio was developed to determine the requirements of raw materials, inputs, equipment and machinery required for the production as well as infrastructure, the plan demonstrated the feasibility of the establishment from the technical dimension. Was prepared in the same way studies on what would be the best way of cultivation, production in the vivarium with the nutrient solution La Molina is the most successful to reach harvest between 12 and 15 days, which is the appropriate time for animals can capture the necessary nutrients for normal development, it also concludes that the establishment of a nursery is feasible and cost- effective, to thus achieve the acceptability of change in food processes to reduce production costs per animal.
