| Summary: | This paper describes the impact of the Multiparty Agreement between Ecuador and the European Union on the export of cocoa derivatives, for which an analysis of the contextualization of the case under study is carried out, in which it is determined that for years Back the country has had negotiations to reach an agreement that benefits the most vulnerable sectors such as agricultural products, obtaining in November 2016 is signed the Protocol of Accession of the Multiparty Agreement that ensures the immediate liberalization of 99.7% In tariffs on agricultural products and 100% in industrial products. This agreement represents the annual increase of the GDP through the increase of the volume of exports, a greater percentage of investments and the generation of jobs. The main objective of the present investigation was to determine the incidence of the Multiparty Trade Agreement in the exports of cocoa products from Ecuador to the European Union market, in order to fulfill this objective it begins with one describing the generalities of the object of study, where Reference is made to the contextualization by defining aspects related to the European Union and its role in the negotiations of the Latin American countries and of Ecuador through the Multiparty Agreement, then describes the history of the problem indicating the beginnings of the European Union , Trade relations between the EU and Latin America, the delimitation of the problem, hypotheses and variables, facts of interest and objectives, subsequently, the following chapter is developed where reference is made to the epistemology of research and the theoretical bases of research where the main terms related to the subject matter are conceptualized, and describes the requirements and requirements that are required to Cocoa derivatives for entry into the EU market. Emphasis is given to the requirements of the European Union market for the entry of cocoa products, which are closely related to the health of consumers, therefore, its main requirements are: compliance with standards Food safety standards, accepted levels of food contaminants, maximum permitted levels of cadmium in cocoa and derived products and the general rules on food labeling, it is necessary for the Ecuadorian exporter to comply with each of these requirements To be successful in the process of marketing their products in the European Union market. The main requirements are: compliance with phytosanitary and sanitary controls, certificate of origin, adoption of food addiction measures, among others, finally in the last chapter it is indicated on the methodological process that is carried out for the collection of data that allow to support the results of the investigation. Finally we have the results of the research by performing the description and theoretical argumentation of results, conclusions and recommendations. |
