| Sažetak: | The following research had as general objective arises: To determine the incidence of acute pneumonia in children under one year of entering the service of pediatrics Hospital Teofilo Dávila October 2013 to March 2014, which were cleared and gave value to the following variables under study: risk factors, individual characteristics, morbid profile by applying a descriptive cross-sectional study and 87 children under one year are evaluated, the research is divided into three phases, the first of research or survey data which was developed by applying a guide surveys of mothers, the second was the planning and implementation of an educational program on the prevention of complications of pneumonia in these children, the third phase is that the program's effectiveness was evaluated by the process, product and impact thereof, obtained important data, 24% are male 0-3meses and 4% of 10 to 12 months Female, 21% are of mixed ethnicity, 17% of mothers are cohabiting, 19% are traders, 19% the level of education of the mother are in high school, 24% of these children live overcrowding, 21% are exposed certain habits to secondhand smoke where it is exposed to suffer from pneumonia, 19% were weaned early, 15% suffer from bronchial asthma, an educational plan in order to reduce pneumonia affecting these children arises and improve their quality of life. |
