إضافة وسم | الملخص: | The following research work is carried at the Hillary Ostrich Farm, located in Canton Arellinas, El Oro, Ecuador. The release of whelps was preceded by the following objec-tives: 1) To determine the influence of hatching in the whelps weight loss at Hillary Ostrich Farm at Canton Arenillas., 2) set the percentage of mortality, morbidity and food conversion of whelps from ages 0 to 3 months old at Hillary Ostrich Farm, Canton Arenillas.,3)Analyzed management production cost of whelps from the making incuba-tion system. The results obtained from the research were satisfactory in each of the ana-lyzed variables to as proof of study were significant at 5% probability, where you can see that the absorption of yolk sac brings the whelps to weight loss during the first eight days of life but it helps to the growth, development and weight gain thru the passing days of the birds due to its easy to adapt to the growth medium. The whelps reached significant averages in their weight due to good provided food and excellent digestion systems with what is able to obtain a good food conversion and a significant reduction in the mortality rate of the ostriches, achieving a high income at the age of three months of the whelps. |
