Aspectos conativos y estadios para el cambio en adolescentes consumidores de drogas.

The consumption of drugs is a problem that harms the health worldwide because of its high social and economic cost. Currently, adolescents are the most vulnerable group due to drug use at an early age causing serious effects on your health. The Ecuadorian State through the Model of Mental Health Care created the program of Intensive Outpatient Service UPS to respond fully to users with serious mental illness and disorders by the use of alcohol and other drugs. The conacion is understood as the intent, the commitment (motivation) and the persistence (volition) to achieve goals and adhere to the psychotherapeutic process. In this regard, the present research aims to study the aspects conativa motivation and volition in relation to the stages for the change in adolescent drug users, beneficiaries of the program of Intensive Outpatient Service (UPS). The research was carried out in the form of mixed study, qualitative quantitative-, its design was cross-sectional, descriptive and interpretative scope and the methods used were the analytic-synthetic, bibliographic and biographical. The approach used was the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which postulates the behavior and learning that is obtained from external stimuli, and cognitive and emotional processes, in relation to this approach as a conceptual framework using the Transtheoretical Model of Change of Prochaska and Diclemente based on three dimensions stages, processes and levels of change
