Riassunto:In the Farm Pagua Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.TechnicalUniversity of Machala.Pagua Sector - Rio Bonito Parish, Canton El Guabo. Oro Province of Ecuador was investigated with the application of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms in addition to the mineral fertilization in banana, considering the following objectives: 1. To determine the efficiency of bacteria Diazothrophs in nitrogen fixation. 2. Increase the yield and quality of conventional bananas. 3. Economic analysis of treatment. The climatic characteristics of the study area were temperature of 18 a 25°C and annual precipitation of 500 mm. According to the classification of Holdridge, Paglia is located within the wet forest ecological training. The treatments included in the study were different levels of nitrogen-fixing bacteria marketed as TWIN alone and in association with 25 %, 50%, 75% and 100% of applied urea per hectare / cycle. We included a total of seven treatments witness. The response variables to the application of the treatments were: monthly plant height, pseudostem diameter monthly, monthly leaf number, root weight at the start of calving, number of hands / bunch, length of fingers, Calibre cluster and cluster conversion / box. The experimental design will be used randomized blocks with seven treatments and three replications. The application of nitrogen-fixing bacteria in combination with urea levels ranging from 25% to 100% of the commercial dose, significantly influenced the rise in production rates and profitability. The pseudostem thickness growth, plant height and leaf emission, improved with the application of Twin N with respect to the absolute control. The combination of Twin N with 75 and 100% of the dose of urea led to achieve the best productivity index finger length of the second hand, the number of hands per bunch, bunch weight and rate of conversion, this finally to 1.04. In the calibration of the fruit was not obtained significant responses
