This creates a bias around the reality that we perceive as there is no evidence to give us accurate information. Leaving then the possibility of interventions that are poorly programmed or inconvenient. A cross-sectional, cross-sectional analytical research was carried out, for which an interview and survey was carried out on both medical and nursing personnel working in the emergency area. Once the data were tabulated, the results were expressed in five statistical tables with their respective interpretation. Finally, the conclusions reached with this study were presented, the general and specific objectives were answered and the recommendations for improvement were presented. Notification of adverse events.El presente trabajo investigativo realiza el análisis y la evaluación del riesgo laboral en relación a notificaciones de eventos adversos en el área de emergencia del hospital Teófilo Dávila. Conocido es que a nivel hospitalario existen una serie de riesgos para con el personal que en el labora, más aún en el área de Emergencia, sin embargo por la magnitud de la demanda o por la insuficiencia de tiempo, suponemos no se registran todos los eventos como debería ser. Esto crea un sesgo en torno a la realidad que percibimos al no existir evidencias que nos den la información precisa. Dejando entonces la posibilidad de intervenciones mal programadas o inoportunas. Se realizó una investigación de tipo analítico correlacional, de corte transversal para lo cual se efectuó una entrevista y encuesta a personal tanto medico como de enfermería, que labora en el área de emergencia.
