الملخص:The objective of this research consisted of sodium cyanide recovery method using the AVR (acidification - Evaporation - Regeneration) in liquid effluents from the leaching process using sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide for recovery and reuses in power the leaching process thus reducing cyanide consumption and reduces environmental pollution. 10 samples of the liquid effluent discharge leaching Mining Company took PROMINE CIA. LTDA. pH tests, free CN-, conductivity, turbidity and total suspended solids was performed as these are indicators of contamination, then move to AVR equipment and proceed to the recovery of sodium cyanide, by using this method applied to Liquid effluents from the leaching process a 93,93% sodium cyanide recovered obtained. Consequently the cost of operating in the leaching process and the contribution of cyanide effluent decreases.
