Summary:In a laboratory handcrafted in the city of Machala logistical support Entomology Laboratory of UTMACH and Agrocalidad research on mass production of Sitotroga cerealella Oliver eggs was performed to bring them to parasitism by Trichogramma exiguum Pinto Plantner introduced the Peru Lima Department. The objectives were: 1. Raising massively Sitotroga cerealella Oliver will serve as an alternate host for Trichogramma exiguum. 2. Determine the interrelation parasitoid - host, ensuring efficient parasite multiplication. 3. Determine the life cycle of the parasite T. exiguum in controlled environment conditions. Use 2 cylinders stainless iron, ten wooden boxes, 4 meters mesh, one exhaust fan, 2 meters clear plastic 0.05 milimeters thick, 8 colored plastic bottles with the caps two kilograms capacity, 6 bottles of transparent plastic respective capacity two kilograms with lids, three meters of elastic, two meters of black fabric, 1 meter plastic mesh, strainer, broom, mop, 1 pair of boots, camera. The factors were on mass multiplication of the parasitoid Trichogramma exiguum on its alternate host Sitotroga cerealella them are synchronized according to the time of production for so many generations parasitoid of tightening techniques for raising, breeding and evaluation according to the quality parameters: - In the multiplication of Sitotroga cerealella Oliver; the viability of the eggs based samples 4.0 x 6.0 inches lifecycle cards, duration S. cerealella was evaluated, number of eggs per square inch and expansion of kilograms. - To Trichogramma exiguum assessed: life cycle assessment of T. exiguum, sex ratio (males - females), percentage of females brachypterous (wingless), percentage of parasitism and adult emergence. Keywords: Trichogramma exiguum, Sitotroga cerealella, massive breeding hosts, biocontrol, parasites, pests of stored grain.
