The TCQSM (Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual), the Traffic and Highway Engineering (Garber and Hoel), the Highway Capacity Manual (2010) and the Classification of roads and urban roads (Ormeño 2013) were used to achieve this. All this academic information helped us measure the quality of the service through indicators used in this research. The results demonstrate the need for the intervention of the competent authority to improve the road infrastructure and the level of service. |

The results demonstrate the need for the intervention of the competent authority to improve the road infrastructure and the level of service.El propósito de esta investigación es medir el nivel de servicio del transporte público urbano de Huaquillas y su infraestructura vial, con el objeto que se pueda aplicar medidas correctivas que permitan mejorar el servicio; para conseguirlo se utilizó el manual TCQSM (Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual) además el aporte del (Traffic and Highway Engineering) de Garber y Hoel , el (Highway Capacity Manual 2010) y Clasificación de las carreteras y vías urbanas de Ormeño 2013, toda esta información académica nos ayuda a medir la calidad del servicio a través de los indicadores utilizados en esta investigación.
