Levante en terneros de doble propósito utilizando bloques nutricionales en la granja experimental Pagua

In the Pagua farm at the Tecnichal University of Machala located in Tendales town, El Guabo, it was where the campus phase was developed, from which the following objectives were established: To determine the weight gain on the calves with the different treatments on the experimental farm of the Paguas’s Technical University of Machala. To establish the calves feed conversion on regards of the exposure to treatments. To realize a costs analysis of the nutritionals blocks to be used in the essay. The different nutritional blocks were provided as follows: The first group of calves (sky-blue rope) 12 blocks formulated with a 10 kg weight each block during the 60 days of investigation. The second group of calves (green rope) 12 commercial blocks with a 10 kg weight each block during the 60 days. The witness group (blue rope) was treated just in a normal farm’s way without the use of blocks. The studied variables were: Initial weight of the calves, weight gain with the different food amounts, final weight of the calves, feed conversion and costs of the treatments. The best treatment corresponded to the formulated supplement which registered the same valuable average on each variable studied. The varianza analysis indicated that there isn’t any statistical significance and that the obtained values differ from each other on the treatments.
