Shrnutí:The present investigation work is carried out it in the months of June, July, August and September of the 2006 in the Coastal Profile of the county of The Gold that he/she understands stations of monitoreo of the following ports: The narrow lace edging, Under High, The Coconut, Jambeli, Port Bolívar, Port Jelí, The pitahaya, Hualtaco and Costa Rica. 1. to identify the levels of Persistent Organic Pollutants (COP´s) in the silts of the Coastal Profile of the County of The Gold 2. to Evaluate the results of the analyses of the obtained silts, with the permissible maximum concentrations already settled down by the Ministry of the Environment. In the ports: Port Bolívar, Port Jelí and the places of rich Costa and Hualtaco the presence of any Persistent Organic Pollutant was not detected. In The Narrow lace edging Aldrín met with a concentration of 1,95 ug/kg, in the sector of the Coconut Dieldrín met with a concentration of 2,82 ug/kg, values that are very above you limit them permissible accepted by the EPA. Taking like reference the permissible limits granted by the EPA, either for the trout rainbow (1,5 ug/kg) or it stops lakes, rivers and streams (74 ug/kg), the concentrations of the Isomeric Endosulfán Sulfate detected in the place Costa Rica (0,86 ug/kg), they are below the accepted ranges so that this Isomeric one is toxic in aquatic organisms and therefore, affect to the health. In the Island Jambelí residuals of the Isomeric Heptacloro Endo Epóxico is detected in a concentration of 0,4 ug/kg, value that is low for the permissible limits accepted by the EPA, being accepted a toxicity of 0,11 ug/kg,
