For this reason, we have proposed a test in order to determine the effectiveness of three concentrations of garlic extract, a chemical kills commercial slug and a witness, also an economic analysis of treatments was performed. For the study was used or completely randomized design with five treatments and four replications. The variables studied were, mortality and treatment effect was corrected by Abbot's formula. Concentrations used garlic extract, the concentration of 180cc per liter resulted in mortality of 47, 5%, while the chemical produced 97.5% mortality. Garlic extract showed an ecological alternative to significantly reduce the snail population. |
