要約:This work was performed at the farm at Santa of Ines of the Unidad Académica de Ciencias Agropecuarias, which experimented with five different substrates for germination of corn, with the following objectives: 1. Characterization shell bananas; 2. Preparation of substrates for seedlings and nursery based banana bark; 3. Comparation of germination in nursery seedlings with other substrates, taking into account quality and costs. Seed corn and all substrates was added banana shell dehydrated, with whom all mixed with fuzz of rice, humus, straw, peat and coir respectively resulting in 5 treatments were used: T1 peel dehydrated banana - land - rice chaff (10-45-45); T2 dehydrated banana peel - land - crop residues (10-45-45); T3 dehydrated banana peel - earth - coir (20-40-40); T4 dehydrated banana peel - earth - peat (20-40-40); T5 dehydrated banana peel - Earth - humus (30-35-35). Being the weight variables banana bark, weight of the dried bark, days to emergence, plant height were adjusted to a Randomized Complete Block design, for best results in the treatment 5 germination was obtained and this height being optimal development treatment and treatment with respect to development lowest plant height was 3 and the treatment respectively longer to delay germination. With this we can refine it based substrates banana peel and the appropriate percentage considering the pH, plus a suitable amendment to any other part we guarantee the creation of a good substrate for the development of seedlings.
