| Riassunto: | The company DEUSSOFT & TELECOM El Oro city of Santa Rosa, provides Internet services, hosting and development of computer systems, this means using information technology to offer products and solutions in innovative ways; however the company did not have the IPv6 service. Therefore has it carried out an analysis of the mechanisms of transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and implementation of a solution for the enterprise network, the solution to the LAN of the company work with IPv6 addressing and IPv4 simultaneously is the Dual stack transition mechanism and to communicate with IPv6 nodes through internet 6to4 tunnel was used which allows through an IPv4 backbone connecting two IPv6 islands, the transition mechanisms allow coexistence between IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. For the project development methodology software development SDLC adapted for networks this is because there are methodologies for design and implementation of networks but in this case is to modify or add settings of an existing network is selected, so it is suitable for the project because it allows us to change something that is already done in this case the network configurations of the company. The development of the project was made by creating a virtual laboratory using technological tools such as the VirtualBox v4.3.18 application that was used to virtualize the network equipment including a Mikrotik router, as well as the application that GNS3 v0.8.7 he allowed replicate the topology of the enterprise network using virtual machines created with VirtualBox v4.3.18 for further configurations, and connectivity tests and smooth operation. Therefore the implementation of the mechanisms of transition in the company network will allow them to be pioneers in the city to offer IPv6 service, and also be prepared for when only the IPv6 protocol is used on the internet. |
