總結:The experiment was carried out at Santa Inés Experimental Station, belong to Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias of Universidad Técnica de Machala, located at km 4,5 from Machala city, in El Cambio country, in the El Oro Province. The objectives were: 1. To evaluate three varieties of green pepper; 2. To establish the best plant distance. The varieties used were: Irazú largo, Marconi and Yolo wonder, and the distances 0,40; 0,45 and 0,50 m. The experimental design used was Ramdomized Complete Block in factorial arregement, with form repetitions. The variable analizace were: Plant hight at 30 and 60 days and at haverest, time of flowering, fruits per plant, diameter, length and weight of fruit and yield. The variety Irazú largo got the best yield; in the variet Marconi got the of fruit. The plant h highest diameter ight did not show any significative difernce highest diameter.
