Add Tag | Summary: | In the city of Machala, according to indexes and traffic estimates it has now a chaotic traffic flow through the center of the city, so it is necessary in this particular case of the research topic, conducting traffic studies and propose solutions that allow vehicular mobility, giving more fluid circulation transport. The completion of this work is to analyze overall traffic congestion in the town of Machala City, and his research was developed in the framework of the factors that interfere with traffic congestion. Using descriptive statistical methodology, traffic counts of vehicular traffic will be performed, determining peak hours, traffic volumes, TPDA, VMH, FHP, capacity and level of service provided by the way, these results will be tabulated and graphically show where variations are displayed volumes, with which the problem exists at the intersection will be confirmed. For information obtained service levels ranging from "C" to "F" at intersections analyzed by different factors involved in traffic congestion is identified, leading to solutions by controlling the congestion to achieve a balance that rationalizes the use of the tracks. |
