The integrating project "Environmental Culture in the students of the School city of Santa Rosa, and its incidence in the preservation of water", is developed with the objective of analyzing the environmental culture of the children of this educational institution, from their habits and behaviors in the face of water protection; and, as an effect of the analysis, a proposal is presented that will make the population studied aware of the importance of using this resource adequately. The integrating project "Environmental Culture in the students of the school city of Santa Rosa, and its incidence in the preservation of water", is developed with the objective of determine the environmental culture of the children of this educational institution, from their habits and behaviors in the face of water protection; and, as an effect of the analysis, a proposal is presented that will make the population studied aware of the importance of using this resource adequately. The methodology used for the collection of the information is inductive, based on the qualitative analysis; in the first instance, it started with the quantitative: but basically it's qualitative, since the results of the investigative instruments used (observation and survey) allowed to know the habits and behavior of children in relation to water care; also, in accordance with this methodology, the focus of the project is inductive, inclined to the psychosocial field, because your try to determine the degree of knowledge and awareness of environmental culture, specifically in the care of water resources. The results of the research are not encouraging, since the knowledge regarding the care of the students' water is theoretically acceptable; however, his practice of environmental care is not correct. The Natural Sciences curriculum, established by MINEDUC, has contents on environmental care and water conservation; but it's evident that the teachers in their planning don't deepen this knowledge, hence it's inferred that the students don't meet the expected level of learning. The data collection and the respective analysis, led to propose the development of a pilot learning tool composed as follows: A printed document entitled Didactic Guide APRENDIPRO "Q" (Learn, have fun and protect) , designed for children of the initial and preparatory levels, which through play activities, such as games, murals, didactic workshops, among others, appropriate to their age and interests, seeks to get children knowledge about water resources and learn basic but meaningful actions for care and water saving. This didactic guide is accompanied by a CD, which will contain interactive software with topics related to water preservation, for the use of the Elemental and Media sub-levels; due to this age this resource is the most appropriate, also, this constitutes an important contribution to education since the technological era in which children are educated is based on the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), therefore it is a fun way to learn. Both the software and the recreational activities are presented with an interdisciplinary perspective, since they encompass the subjects and knowledge of the national curriculum.

El proyecto integrador “Cultura Ambiental en los educandos de la Escuela Ciudad de Santa Rosa y su incidencia en la preservación del agua”, se desarrolla con el objetivo de determinar la cultura ambiental de los niños de esta institución educativa, desde sus hábitos y comportamientos frente a la protección del agua; y, como efecto del análisis, se presenta una propuesta que permita concienciar a la población estudiada sobre la importancia de utilizar adecuadamente este recurso. La metodología utilizada para la recolección de la información es inductiva, basada en el análisis cualitativo; en primera instancia se partió de lo cuantitativo: pero básicamente es cualitativa, ya que los resultados de los instrumentos investigativos utilizados (observación y test) permitieron conocer los hábitos y el comportamiento de los niños y niñas frente al cuidado del agua; asimismo, en concordancia con esta metodológica, el enfoque del proyecto es inductivo, inclinado al ámbito psicosocial, debido a que se trata de determinar el grado de conocimiento y de conciencia respecto a la cultura ambiental, específicamente en el cuidado del recurso agua. Los resultados de la investigación, no son alentadores, pues el conocimiento respecto al cuidado del agua de los educandos es aceptable teóricamente; sin embargo, su práctica de cuidado ambiental no es correcta. El currículo de Ciencias Naturales, establecido por el MINEDUC, posee contenidos sobre cuidado ambiental y conservación del agua; pero se evidencia que los docentes en sus planificaciones no profundizan estos saberes, de allí se infiere que los estudiantes no cumplen con el nivel de aprendizaje esperado. La recolección de datos y el respectivo análisis, conllevaron a proponer la elaboración de una herramienta de aprendizaje piloto compuesta de la siguiente manera: un documento impreso titulado: Guía Didáctica APRENDIPRO “Q” (Aprende, Diviértete y Protege), destinada para los niños de los subniveles Inicial y Preparatoria, la cual mediante las actividades lúdicas, como juegos, murales, talleres didácticos, entre otros, adecuados a su edad e intereses, se busca que los niños obtengan conocimientos acerca del recurso hídrico y aprendan acciones básicas pero significativas para el cuidado y ahorro del agua. Esta guía didáctica está acompañada de un CD, el cual, contendrá un software educativo con temas relacionados a la preservación del agua, para el uso de los subniveles Elemental y Media; debido a su edad este recurso es el más adecuado, asimismo, este constituye un importante aporte a la educación ya que la era tecnológica en que los niños se educan tiene como base el uso de las TIC (Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación), por tanto, es una forma divertida de aprender.
