Zusammenfassung:Banana activity in Ecuador since its inception has been fundamental for the economic and social development of the country, since through the production and commercialization of bananas, sources of employment and the inflow of foreign currency into the country have been generated. For this reason, the present research entitled "MARKETING OF ORGANIC BANANA IN THE CONTEXT OF THE FREE TRADE AGREEMENT WITH THE EUROPEAN UNION" is presented, where relevant aspects of the impact that the Protocol of Accession of Ecuador to the Multiparty Agreement with the European Union in the commercialization of Ecuadorian organic bananas. The general objective of this study is to determine the impact of the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union on Ecuadorian organic banana exports. Through qualitative research, a conceptual documentary review was carried out, as well as statistical data in order to determine the veracity of the information through accurate sources on the production of organic bananas and the current situation of organic banana exports. towards the European Union. The production of organic bananas in Ecuador has increased progressively in recent years and the main producing provinces are Los Ríos, Guayas and El Oro, so the country started negotiations with the European Union for the signing of the Multiparty Agreement and established bilateral trade links. , given the enormous importance of this market for the export of star products such as bananas, cacao, shrimp, tuna and flowers. Among the main benefits of the Free Trade Agreement has strengthened Ecuador's relationship with the EU in the commercial and investment fields for mutual benefit, preferential access to markets of EU member countries, a secure legal framework, stable and protection of human, social and environmental rights. It should be noted that Ecuador adheres to this market consisting of more than 500 million consumers where there is a high demand for organic products, and the Free Trade Agreement ensures the immediate release of 99.7% of Ecuador's historical exportable supply in agricultural products. and 100% of the industrial products produced in the country for this reason. In the case of organic bananas, it enjoys the benefit of tariff reduction, ensuring the reduction from 2016 to 2020 of the tariff from 104 to 75 euros per MT, which makes it possible to improve the competitiveness of Ecuadorian bananas compared to the main competing countries of the Caribbean, Central America and the African States. In this context, it is defined that the Free Trade Agreement has allowed the participation of conventional and organic banana exports in the exports of the country's star products to the EU, between the years 2016-2017 it had a variation of 68,984 USD. The volume of sales of organic bananas in the year 2017 grew approximately 12% with an upward trend, being an encouraging scenario for organic banana producers.
