Análisis de riesgos de la infraestructura de red de la unidad de sistemas de la universidad técnica de Machala, basado en la norma ISO/IEC 27005:2008 y propuesta de un plan de gestión

Globalization, competition and technological advances are increasing the importance of corporate networks in all sectors. Institutions with greater vision should be prepared for a growing dependence on their networks and therefore for exponential growth network. Risk analysis in network infrastructure are performed in order to create a solid basis for granting control of their networks and identify critical areas that need immediate action Currently the systems unit of the Technical University of Machala is experiencing significant growth from its applications and infrastructure, this growth results in drive systems are increasingly exposed to risks and threats thereof that are increasing along with the likelihood that iT vulnerabilities take advantage and exploit, which would cause a potentially serious impact on assets that may be critical causing loss or damage to the business. This awareness of exposure happens just as something general without being due attention to risk management. It then intends to conduct a risk analysis of network infrastructure systems unit of the Technical University of Machala, based on ISO / IEC 27005: 2008 and propose a plan of risk management to determine and prioritize iT risk to give them proper treatment and decide to take countermeasures, protecting assets and ensuring that the objectives of the systems unit of the Technical University of Machala are adequately met.
