Summary:In the city of Machala, a significant percentage of respondents obligors pay alimony exaggerated, disproportionate, set out in the table of minimum pensions, issued by the national council of childhood and adolescence. Situation involving parents mothers responsible for the care and education of the child benefit from alimony, are not really investing the pension entirely of their children as mandated by the code of childhood and adolescence, but as minimum pensions established in this table are high, level 3, with a salary of 1091 onwards and 1 or more children up to four years the obligor will spend 41.36% of their salary quietly as part of maintenance, pay debts or personal expenses unrelated the purpose of the demand for food, that is, pay your income, but not take advantage with part of the pension to meet own needs. This happens because the existing loophole in the code of childhood and adolescence, as there are no regulations requiring the parent in charge of the child to justify monthly expenditure on education, clothing, health and recreation.
