Description
Summary:With the purpose of evaluate the action of Trichoderma sp. against pathogen and nematodes of the ground in four crops of vegetables, it carry out the present task in the st. Ines farm on the Technical University of Machala Faculty Agrarian science. To determinate the action of the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma sp. against fungus of the ground and nematodes in four crops of vegetable: turnip Bassica napus; chard, Beta vulgaris; radish, Raphanus sativus; cilantro, Coriandrum sativum, only and associates. To realize an economic analysis of the treatments. In an arrangement of statistical design of blocks to random with eight treatments and four repetitions. At seven weeks of sowing it began the harvest of radish during three months with the harvest of cilantro, it determinated: number of affected plants for the attack of pathogens to ground. (Fusarium sp., Phytophthora sp., Rhizoctonia sp.)fungus causing of Damping off or trembling for yield for useful area of each one of vegetables, quantification of the population of fit parasitic nematodes before and after of the sowing. Of the fit parasitic nematodes it searched the presence of L. Meloidogyne sp. in crops of chard and radish however that in cilantro and turnip searched negative population. The percent of mortality of mortality of plants of the four vegetables, corresponded to value slower to turnip with 3,75 percent and the higher value to the chard with 11,67 percent this referent to individual crops and using Trichoderma sp. to concentration of 2 x 106 applying 15 ml for plant, however that for associate vegetables this percent it searched between 8,75 and 12,5 percent. The indexes of production of turnip with use of Trichoderma sp. in relation to associated crops do not searched statistic meaning. To chard it searched statistical difference to the foliar area and the weight of the foliage. To the production of radish it searched high statistical meaning to the weight and length of the bulbs. And finally to cilantro with use of Trichoderma sp. front to crops associate all that to weight of the foliage and size of stems do not searched statistical meaning. The obtained results, in the present task it determinated that the utilization of turnip and cilantro can be used in the rotation of crops to decrease the impact of the nematode that produce gills in the radicular system.
