Epidemiologia de la procariota intracelular rickettsia asociada al síndrome del hepatopancreatitis necrotizante nhp en cultivo de camaron litopenaeus vannamei

The Necrotizing Hepatopancreatitis (NHP) is a new genera and new specie of bacterium belonging to the proteobacteria group, they are found intracellularly lining the epithelium cells of the hepatopancrea. This infection causes in the shrimp anorexia, showing an empty intestine, a highly reduced growth, flaccidity, as an indicative of low increment in weight. There is a highly atrophy of the hepatopancrea together with some of the following signs: pale center more than the usual orange color, tubules with black lines due to the melanization of them, as well as soft and aqueous filled up with a liquid in their center. The results of the PCR technique (Polymerase Chain Reaction) were compared with the pathognomonic signs of this disease, aiming to confirm or not its presence. Thus, the results obtained during this research showed that these signs are unable to indicate on their own the presence or not of NHP. At the same time, the etiologic agent was searched for, being found a type of Vibrio spp. from which a biochemical identification was done.
