| Sumari: | The present investigation studied the effectiveness of four bio rational insecticides for the control of the trips of the red spot Chaetanaphotrhips signipennis, relating the number of nymphs and adults before and after seven days of its control. Field testing was carried out in the farm of Celia Maria parish Caña Quemada belonging to the Canton Pasaje is located in the following geographic coordinates 644394 UTM 9640393, with an annual mean temperature of 25˚C for the study to enter in the accounts of the number of thrips (nymphs and adults) located in the pods of the first three leaves on plants early to measure from 1.5 to 2 m, the possible infestation is visible to the naked eye by splines and reddish spots that are presented in the pseudostems.
