| description | The present investigation studied the effectiveness of four bio rational insecticides for the control of the trips of the red spot Chaetanaphotrhips signipennis, relating the number of nymphs and adults before and after seven days of its control. Field testing was carried out in the farm of Celia Maria parish Caña Quemada belonging to the Canton Pasaje is located in the following geographic coordinates 644394 UTM 9640393, with an annual mean temperature of 25˚C for the study to enter in the accounts of the number of thrips (nymphs and adults) located in the pods of the first three leaves on plants early to measure from 1.5 to 2 m, the possible infestation is visible to the naked eye by splines and reddish spots that are presented in the pseudostems. The preparation of the bio rational insecticides to basis of metabolites and placement in sprayers of 250 ml, to be sprayed: Imidacloprid, Abamectina, Metarhizium sp, Beauveria bassiana. Its mortality was observed in seven days, homogenizing the data to make use of the formula Abbots corrected for Henderson y Tilton 1955 and recalculate your mortality on the basis of arcsine. Getting the 96.9 % effectiveness of Imidacloprid in the reduction of thrips populations of the red spot, being the most significant treatment narcotraffickers, Abamectin common 94.6 %, Metarhizium with 89.8 % and Beauveria bassiana with 85.6 % efficiency. |

El ensayo de campo se lo realizó en La Hacienda Celia María de La parroquia Caña Quemada perteneciente al Cantón Pasaje. Para el estudio se contabilizó el número de trips (ninfas y adultos) localizados en las vainas de las tres primeras hojas en plantas prontas, que midan de 1,5 a 2 m. La posible infestación se observa a simple vista por las estrias y manchas rojizas que se presentan en los pseudotallos. La preparación de los insecticidas biorracionales a base de metabolitos y colocación en pulverizadoras de 250 ml, para ser asperjadas: Imidacloprid, Abamectina, Metarhizium, Beauveria bassiana. Su mortalidad fue observada a los siete días, homogenizando los datos para hacer uso de la fórmula Abbot´s corregida por Henderson y Tilton 1955 y recalcular su mortalidad en base a arco seno.
