| Shrnutí: | In the research of the eco - toxicological anthropogenic cadmium in the waters of rivers and estuaries impact on a species that is part of our fish fauna as Poecilia reticulata '' fish or guppy " was evaluated. This species was used in this test short time in order to determine the toxicological impact of cadmium. In this test the percentage of mortality or average tolerance limit (LT ᵐ ) on the'' guppy ", using different concentrations of cadmium was evaluated further sensitivity caused by the toxic effect of cadmium on the copies of Poecilia reticulata was evaluated. In Phase I in the aquarium ͦ 7 N concentration of 0.70 mg / lt 36 hours after exposure " guppy " Having passed the 50% mortality of fish thereof was determined; since this concentration was prepared the second phase, the data obtained in this phase are subjected to SPSS which gives response to concentrations above the 0.719 mg / lt is the average tolerance limit (LT ᵐ ) . The duration of the research, observations of fish behavior under study ( Poecilia reticulata ) were performed , both temperature and pH were maintained at constant levels , fish from 30 hours showed erratic swimming , fish deaths were observed in the skin lesions , left as a suggestion for an upcoming bioassay statistically relate the concentrations of cadmium or some contamination with other variables such as temperature, pH , etc. . From the data obtained in this work can be inferred that the fish Poecilia reticulata can be taken into account as a bio- indicator of the presence of toxic elements such as cadmium in the waters of rivers and estuaries. The same tolerance to cadmium suggests their use in ecotoxicological tests. |
