| Samenvatting: | In the property the Maria of the Buenavista parish, in Pasaje canton was settled down the test. The raised objectives were: 1. to determine the effectiveness of covers treated for the control of plagues of the cluster of banana tree. 2. To make the economic analysis of the treatments in study. The index of damage and presence of plagues was evaluated in the packing store yard, counting the eruptions in the lateral quadrant of intermediate finger of the second row in the second hand of three clusters, from which the average weighed compared later with different scale of damage was obtained. The Experimental design was completely at random with four treatments and three repetitions. The experimental unit was conformed by 10 clusters for treatment, 120 clusters in the entire test. The results did not throw statistical significance for the studied factors. The damages registered in the case of trips and coleopterons were low, no significant. The indices of damage caused by trips were homogenous with the four treatments. In cochineal, the greater number of individuals by cluster was registered with Bifentrina 0.1% high density covers, and in the remaining treatments the incidence was far below. The damages of Colaspis submetallica were very low, inferior 0.42 scrapings by fingers of the second hand. Conclusions: 1. the insecticide Bifentrina 0.1% impregnated in covers of low and high density was not different statistically in the protection of the cluster of the damages caused by trips of the flower and Colaspis submetallica with respect to Clorpirifos 1%. 2. In the evaluations of the clusters the presence of trips of the red spots Chatanophostrips orchiidi and black aphid Pentalonia nigronervosa; were not reported 3. The incidence of cochineal Dismicoccus brevipes, in the evaluated clusters was low but significantly different between high density Bifentrina cover in relation to Clorpirifos 1% cover with the types of investigated covers. |
