Presencia de coronavirus en perros en la ciudad de Pasaje mediante la prueba de Elisa

This research was conducted in canine coronavirus City Pasaje, El Oro province, during the months of July, August and September of 2009 with the following objectives: 1 .- Diagnosing canine coronavirus in the town of Passage, by Elisa test, 2 .- To determine the prevalence of Coronavirus by age and habitat, 3 .- To establish the prevalence of canine coronavirus according to their origin. The number of animals investigated was 100 dogs, which had gastroenteric symptoms. For the sample test was used quick Parvovirus and Canine Coronavirus and the results were recorded in the log sheet, which contained, patient habitat, origin, age, date of receipt of the sample, symptoms resulting from the evidence and case number. The prevalence of canine coronavirus in the town of Passage was 7% the level of infection is high considering that it is the first time you perform this research in the town of Passage. In the peripheral zone got a 5% infection.
